For the first time Fiji is hosting the 18th Commonwealth Heads of Valuation Agencies Conference 2017. The Ministry of Lands & Mineral Resources (MLMR) will be hosting this inaugural event at the Sofitel Fiji Resort & SPA- Denarau, Nadi.

This conference will focus on Shaping the Valuation Profession and dwell on number of contemporary issues including the challenges faced in the valuation profession. CHOVA 2017 will provide an excellent platform to the professionals to share their experiences with other participants in the conference. This event is a unique opportunity to many delegates to visit this part of the world and spend a few days in a natural and relaxed environment while attending the conference.

Support for this international event has been given from the Fiji Government, Valuation Institutions, and other relevant stakeholders. Lands Department is taking the leading role in setting up the venue at Sofitel Fiji Resort and SPA, a luxury hotel located next to a nice sandy beach in the western part of the country. The conference venue is just a 15 minutes’ drive from the Nadi International Airport.

This notable event will take place from Wednesday the 19th July 2017 to Friday the 21st July 2017. In this three days the conference will be blended with several other exciting events for the delegates

A registration fee of USD$500.00 , which will be inclusive of the whole event including field visits and Sunset Boat Cruise Dinner. The event will start with a traditional welcome reception and cocktail on the first day, and will end with presentation of certificates and a tour of selected sites on the 21st of July, 2017.
